Originally known as Walhalla, Ellsburg Township was incorporated July 7, 1914. Ellsburg Township is a quiet rural community with a population of 174 and an average age of 45. Set amongst numerous lakes and scenic wetlands, the area has many cabins and seasonal dwellings.
