St. Louis County is updating its Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan as is required every 5 years by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). They are asking cities and townships to assist them in getting the word out by posting a link of the St. Louis County media release on our website. They will be contacting cities in the near future to set up meetings to discuss the plan update. The media release (see link below) explains the update and reason for the plan in detail.
NOTICE: The Board Meeting scheduled for tonight, January 29, 2019, has been POSTPONED one week to February 5th, 2019 at 6 PM. On February 5th a Special Board Meeting will be held.

WHERE: Melrude Town Hall PURPOSE: A meeting with the St Louis County Public Works Department to review road length information as it pertains to Blackburn Drive in the ongoing discussion of road maintenance responsibility.
The regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting for September has been rescheduled from 9/27/16 to 9/20/16 at 6 P.M. (i.e. One week earlier) This is necessary due to lack of a required meeting quorum from Board members being unavailable on 9/27.

(Polling places will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M., with the exception of townships having less than 500 inhabitants that have opted to establish a later poll opening, but in all cases no later than 10:00 A.M. (M.S. 204C.05).)
